Perfect Pour Cocktail Co. is committed to maintaining its relationship with sustainable, local produce sources. We admire the tireless work of farmers, and wholeheartedly believe that you will taste the quality in every single cocktail we fabricate. All of our ingredients are non-GMO and organic whenever available, and our citrus is pressed on site to ensure the highest level of freshness.
Most of our top priorities are cocktail related for obvious reasons. Garnishing cocktails for functionality not flashiness, utilizing specific forms of ice to control dilution, creating a balance between unique flavors and executing recipes in proper fashion (with a little showmanship, of course) are just a few of the ways we make our libations a bit better than the next guy. Shortcuts are not part of the equation, which tasks us with making all of our syrups and tinctures from scratch, and juicing our citrus by hand.
Gone are the days of red Solo cups (although we admit a strong sense of nostalgia), over sized-martini glasses and wimpy, thick-rimmed wine stemware. Just like most other components of a well crafted concoction, glassware plays a huge role in how a drink is not only consumed, but how it feels and looks while being enjoyed. All cocktail glassware is included in our service rate. Wine and sparkling stemware is available for an additional, but extremely competitive cost.
Essentially, we adopted our fairly obsessive bartending mentality and applied it to designing, honestly, some pretty amazing bar surfaces. The most eye catching varieties of wood, uber-talented craftsman and architects, and our cocktail know-how came together in a “perfect storm” of wood carpentry. Each design certainly has its own personality, and are consistently the cornerstone of merrymaking at each of our events.
We offer one of the only legitimate Ice Programs in Seattle. What does that mean? Our big block cubes for sipping well structured spirits are unblemished, crystal clear and free of any air bubbles or impurities. Our hand crushed ice for high octane juleps, swizzles and tiki recipes dilutes cocktails to precise palatability, and our chipped ice keeps that long drink cooler than a polar bear’s toenail. Often overlooked, quality ice is an essential component for a well-made beverage.
Seattle is blessed to be a thriving hub within the global cocktail scene. There is no shortage of talented bartenders, and we are lucky enough to employ a handful of the area’s extremely gifted, hospitality-oriented (and slightly obsessed) barkeeps. Although most of them oversee cocktail programs at other respectable watering holes around town, we rope them into getting behind the stick for Perfect Pour on their off nights. We are all active members of the United States Bartenders Guild, and are MAST certified by Washington State to ensure responsible service.
We know how much they matter… and luckily we’re pretty well versed on “the little things”. We’ve scoured the country’s antique shops for the past few years compiling a cache of vintage barware and ornate knick-knacks that keep our bar tops classy and throwback. Every piece of eye candy on our bar has a pretty interesting story on how it was acquired, and usually an equally impressive function.
Due to Washington State Liquor Code, Perfect Pour Cocktail Co. can not provide or re-sell alcohol to its clients or guests. While most would view this as a detractor, we actually think it works out to the benefit of the host. We would never pass along a shopping list to our clients. All of our liquor, wine and beer orders are personally organized and complied thru local vendors. With 2 advanced Sommeliers and more than a handful of certified Cicerones at our disposal, we offer priceless advice and recommendations to make sure we get you proper spirits at the right price.
Made of Sapele Mahogany and Tiger Wood (not Tiger Woods, I couldn’t quite afford that one), this 13 ft. masterpiece was conceptualized with the stylings of Early 20th Century New York City in mind. It boasts a 3 piece design for accommodating our larger parties while still allowing the capacity to create each cocktail to order. It is outfitted with a hand planed elbow rail, warm bronze finish, exposed filament lighting system and tons of trick detailing. Design and Build by
Josh Pratt of Maui, HI
We love our original bar design so much that we decided to duplicate it here in Seattle. We replaced the Sapele & Tiger wood with Mahogany trim and Cherry wood paneling, and constructing a farmhouse-style lighting system. It still maintains a distinct air of classiness while offering a more modern and industrial look. Design and Build by Rydawell Woodworks, Seattle, WA
We gave a nod to the Pacific Northwest this time around, using tongue & grooved Clear Cedar & solid Maple trim on the vertical surfaces and a veined Sandalwood granite top. The industrial piping light system adds the perfect touch to this 8 ft, single piece bar. This design is much less cumbersome than our others, and is oriented towards our more intimate sized gatherings. Design and Build by Josh Pratt of Maui, HI
Usually the unsung hero of many of our long nights out on the town, this 4 piece jewel often plays the support role at our larger functions, offering a second space to grab a quick glass of bubbles or an ice cold brew. Every once in a while, we let her take center stage for events that are forgoing the craft cocktail scene and sticking with more streamlined service. Cocktail catering is a relatively new addition to the roster of familiar vendors that cross a host’s mind when coordinating an event. If you’ve taken the time to browse this far thru our website, chances are you value a proper cocktail and a good meal.
We can’t speak for everyone, but one of the main reasons we anticipate attending “once in a lifetime” events so much is the idea of kicking back a few drinks, having some laughs with friends and dancing the night away. This is just the reason we started Perfect Pour Cocktail Co., to create an elevated cocktail experience for evenings that should be remembered. Sure, a hired bartender can put a drink in your hand just as quick as we can, but will that cocktail come up in conversation months later? Should the bar that provided that cocktail be a table with a black linen stretched across it? Up until a few years ago, there really wasn’t much of a choice.
Each Perfect Pour event is meticulously planned, making certain that every last detail of our bar services is reflective of its host’s culinary aptitude. Doing things “the right way” is usually a bit tougher than “the easy way”, but we believe that very difference is what sets us a part from the rest. We know you’ll appreciate the fruits of our labor.
